Maestro Mil leads the VISMIN (Visayas/Mindanao Association) choir in Edmonton, Canada.  This is a group of over 100 members that organizes activities for Filipinos all throughout the year.  The main events are the VISMIN anniversary, Christmas and Sto. Nino fiesta.  During these events, Maestro Mil prepares songs for the group to sing.  He, in fact, composed a very heart-warming song called, "Panamilit" for the Sto. Nino fiesta that is held here annually by the VISMIN Association in Edmonton.  This very special event is usually attended by over 300 people from different parts of Alberta.
